The 2025 New Jersey gubernatorial primary will be a crucial process as both major parties select their nominees. In a primary, voters from each party cast their ballots to choose their preferred candidate; the winners advancing to the general election. With Governor Murphy term-limited, the primaries will play a vital role in shaping the state's future direction, giving voters a significant voice in this pivotal election. In the next issue, we will give you a deeper dive on each of the candidates and where they stand on the issues that matter most to you!
Voter Resources

Women, particularly young women of color, are critical to driving social and policy change.
As movement makers and activators, our voices have the power to shape – and shake up – the landscape when it comes to the issues that matter most to our lives. That’s why YWCA conducts the YWomenVote survey bi-annually, to ensure that we’re always keeping these critical voices at the forefront of all of our work.
These findings are our roadmap to change.
The 2024 findings demonstrate that, once again, women overall – across generations, race and ethnicity, and other demographics – are united around which issues are most important.
