The YWCA USA is pleased to announce Stand Against Racism is officially a signature campaign of YWCA USA!
Started as a collaboration by YWCA Trenton and YWCA Princeton in 2007, Stand Against Racism is designed to build community among those who work for racial justice and to raise awareness about the negative impact of institutional and structural racism.
This April 23th to 26th, we will kick off our first national Stand Against Racism campaign, and we want to ensure that you, our valued supporters, are a part of this exciting event. Registration is now open! Please visit www.standagainstracism.org for more details.
The YWCA Princeton is planning our Stand for Friday, April 24th. We will be hosting a Legislative Breakfast at The Nassau Inn at 8:15 a.m. asking our community leaders and elected officials to urge Congress to pass the End Racial Profiling Act (HR2851). For more information, contact our Office of Advocacy & Development at (609) 497-2100 Ext. 316. In the meantime, please take a moment to sign the National Pledge Against Racism. You can invite others to sign as well!
Over 250,000 people across the country take a Stand each year. Together, we can eliminate racism.
Thanks for all you do for our YWCA, on this special day and every day.
